Beware of Codesterra: My Experience with Scammer Muhammad Hamza and His Fraudulent Software Services

Scammers in the tech industry are on the rise, and unfortunately, I recently became a victim of one. Muhammad Hamza, the owner of Codesterra (https://codesterra.com/), scammed me out of 50% of the advanced payment for a WordPress signature generator project. I discovered Hamza through his Codester profile (https://www.codester.com/Codem485), which led me to his WhatsApp number (+92 309 3131323).

The project requirements were simple: create a signature generator without using any third-party APIs or iframes. Initially, everything seemed to be going well, and I made a payment of 7,500 PKR. However, once Hamza declared the project finished, I found out that all the features were either iframed, embedded, or reliant on third-party APIs, completely against my request.

When I confronted him about how I could make future changes to these features without APIs, he flatly denied that it was possible, claiming that such changes would always require APIs. I quickly realized I had been scammed—Hamza had no intention of delivering a proper custom solution and instead used shortcuts like embedding other people’s work.

Since he refused to refund the money, I feel compelled to warn others. Muhammad Hamza and Codesterra are running a fraudulent operation that preys on clients like me. Their work is nothing but a scam, and their so-called “software solutions” are substandard. Save yourself from falling into this trap!
